Dr. Higgins is a double board-certified podiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all conditions of the foot and ankle. After completing undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University, Dr. Higgins earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a three-year surgical residency at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis where she was elected Chief Resident, and served on the Graduate Medical Education Council.
Dr Higgins is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is the state representative for the Great Lakes Region for ACFAS.
In her personal life, Dr. Higgins enjoys playing recreational sports, participating in outdoor activities, and spending time with her family. She is married with two children and has two dogs.
Dr. Higgins has a comprehensive understanding of the diverse range of podiatric disorders and surgical interventions. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to helping patients with their treatment goals, such as returning to activities and increasing comfort.
